How it All Began…
Six years ago my Dad and I responded to an ad in the newspaper that asked "Do you make $500/month for 10 hours of work?" The extra income sounded good, but the "10 hours of work" each month was more appealing, considering that both of us worked full time. When I called, the representative on the other end of the phone, Joe began touting the benefits of owning small bulk vending machines.
At first I was skeptical. My dad always told me, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." And this sounded too good to be true. But Joe made a convincing argument, and I was eventually won over. We ordered 30 machines.
Getting Started…
Our machines arrived and we found a place to put our first machine! We both began to try out different methods to track the business. Dad went the route of the spreadsheet. But once all 30 machines were placed we realized that excel just wasn’t going to cut it!
So we started searching. There were several software applications built for the vending business but nothing really fit the mold (not to mention the budget, these programs were WAY out of my range!)
Developing Vend-Trak became my top priority. At times, I felt that I may have bitten off more than I could chew. "Tracking an entire vending business," I thought, is an incredibly complex problem to tackle. But I persisted…
Vend-Trak has enabled me to run my business so much more efficiently. I can’t believe how much time I’ve saved servicing my route and how much more money I’m making by getting the product mix right!

Vend-Trak is a piece of cake to learn and everything you need for tracking is there...dynamite...this version is great!
